Panic
I had to calm down. Hot baths always worked at home. I headed for the bathroom. When my fingers thouched the lightswitch it shorted and I was bathed in darkness. I got into the tub in the dark. I didn't even have to turn the knobs to get a strong flow of water. My hands did it just by being close. My foot kicked the nossle of the bathtub fixture. A lamp crashed in the living-room. I loked at the rusty water. My God, the bathtub seemed to me to be full of blood. My blood?! "I'm hemorraging! I'm dying!" I panicked. I ran into the hall stark naked trying desparately to think clearly and remember Dave & Peter's room number. One of the men I'd met earlier at the pool came out into the hall. "Get back to your room, Chris, you don't have any clothes on." "But you don't understand", I pleaded. "I'm dying." He made me return to my room.
