What's with this "mudra"? (no blasphemy intended)

I mean Caitlin (Cathy) calls herself a "late adopter", well then, I am too. I see this hand thing in lots of Chris's pictures from ROK and I don't for the life of me know what it symbolizes. Not peace, right? I know that one. When I was a teenager this sign meant bull-s*** and was not a nice thing to do. How times change.
