Tonight I am quite sad
It seems to me that Cloud, my beloved animal companion , has aged overnight. We are giving her all the TLC we can, but it is so hard to watch her get thinner and thinner.
She loves her new, natural food, especially the rabbit, but also the duck and the Thanksgiving Dinner meal and a few others. To hear her purr when she goes to her bowl makes my heart soar; but then there are the other times, when she has difficulty climbing up the stairs and climbing onto our bed, and she throws up quite often. But cats are so darn stoic and proud, they don't show you their pain. So I live in perpetual wonderment whether this is quality of life for her...

Give Cloud a hug from her Auntie Susan.
I will, thank you, sweetheart, but not too hard, she is literally skin and bones, no flesh. I don't even dare brush her for fear of hurting her. That being said, today Ben put a big towel down on the living-room carpet to give me a shiatsu and Cloud was on there like Flint wanting her massage too; and Ben worked on her as only he knows how and she loved it!
