Be here now
As we grow older, we get less attached to the future; less convinced that we know where we are going. We become much more attuned to the reality of the present.
--Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D.
"Jean, Jean, you're young and alive, come out of your half-dreamed dream Jean" la la la. I do believe we see a theme emerging here in my latest postings.
I like this lady Jean very much; "Goddesses in Everywoman" was one of my favourite books, one I did finish I might add. Dr. Bolen, a Jungian analyst, has just come out with another "Crones don't Whine" that I'd like to read -- but only when I get to be a crone ;-); let's see: done the virgin, maiden, mother (of sorts) thing -- when does crone arrive?
I really liked the "be here now" concept prevalent when Sue and I were at Miraval Spa and hope that while Chris is in Seoul he will take the time to explore the Buddhist temples and take some time to meditate and dharma -- I know I would.
