Terrible company
To say that I was awful company is an understatement. I could not even turn my head to meet John and Margarete, the former a retired lawyer from the States and latter an emigree from Kazakhstan. I mean, our son Matt introduced me to Ali G's K character, Borat, and he is soooo funny; well, Margarete was a female version of Borat. All I garnered between heaves was that they had met over the internet, it was love at first e-mail, and John imported Margarete to the States to be his 2nd wife! In any event, I could not even taste the first wine from our wine package let alone order dinner -- and when Ben's salmon arrived, well, one whiff and I was off, running back to my stateroom to lie down for the night! Thankfully, Ben had gotten Gravol-type pills from the Customer Service desk and as soon as the liquor/acupressure band boutique opened, Ben bought me my much-needed remedy and I went to bed. Ben on the other hand, headed off to the casino to try his luck! In fact, that was number 9 on the Top 10 Things to Do on This Royal Caribbean Cruise list: "drop a quarter into the slots ...Just think, you could be the next big winner at the Casino Royale on Deck 6."
