Once is never enough
Here we are at our second night in the Pinnacle Grill. This was a "casual" night; but hey, when you've got it, flaunt it, right?! Even Gabor our Hungarian wait staff commented on how lovely we all looked. This was the night I got all maudlin and toasted Maureen, Catherine and Susan in turn. If I remember well I told Maureen that to me she was our big sister, always there to watch over and protect us and that I felt a particular connection with her -- like kindred spirits. To Cathy, I toasted her vivaciousness and joie de vivre. She is the youngest of our foursome and I have always loved her energy that never changes with time. And then of course, there's Susan. To Sue, I told her how much I loved her and I thanked her from the bottom of my heart for making this trip possible, told her how grateful I was for her friendship that seems to have lasted for an eternity and that I will take that friendship and closeness to my grave as one of the great gifts of my life. Namaste! But that's a whole other story and the subject of another post, certainly.

I'm glad you "found" this picture, it's lovely! At the risk of being maudlin too, having you there made this trip extra special. We may not be related by blood, but you are indeed a true sister!
