I just have to mention that Alaska is the 1 state that has more than 3 million lakes and 3,000 rivers. 3/4's of all the fresh water in Alaska is stored as glacial ice, an amount that far exceeds the water found in all of the state's lakes, ponds, rivers and reservoirs. Alaska boasts some 1 00,000 glaciers, covering almost 3 0,000 square miles. Thank you for your patience.
