Dating back to Gold Rush days, this row of colourful houses was a red-light district of brothels and speakeasies. Today, it overflows with gift shops, art galleries and restaurants. The only hint of its racy past is Dolly's House, a former brothel named for well-known madam Dolly Arthur. Once billed as the place "where men and salmon came upstream to spawn," it is now a small museum containing old photos and antiques -- apparently, because we never went in!

Just like we didn't ride a camel in Egypt, a cable car in San Francisco, or a Gondola in Venice!
And what was it that we didn't do in Sin City?
