Fly like an eagle
I love the pink in this sky -- thank you, my brother Bill. A few facts about the bald eagle:
1. Wingspan reaching 7-1/2 feet;
2. glistening white head that eagles acquire at the age of four or five;
3. until recently, bald eagles wre an endangered species, but now 20,000 bald eagles live year-round in southeastern Alaska.
4. eagles can fly up to 100 miles per hour while diving.
5. they mate for life, returning to the same nest every year.
