Spawning Pacific Salmon
Before we left Mendenhall Glacier, we were able to walk about and see the Pacific Salmon spawning in the Creek. It brought back cherished memories of when my Dad used to take me out late at night as a little girl on Lac Belanger with a lantern attached to the back of our rowboat so that we could see the trout spawning in the lake bottom . How indelibly etched in my psyche is that memory!
