Is this Bridal Veil Falls?
Sue treated us to one of the most remarkable tours I've ever taken! It was called "The Ultimate Yukon & White Pass Railroad" (8-hour) tour. Upon arriving in Skagway harbour, we boarded our deluxe motorcoach with a lovely driver from Oregon if I remember correctly, who was vacationing in Alaska, driving our bus! I can't say as I blame her! At one spot at the beginning of our tour she mentioned that she could not help but admire the top of a particular mountain because in the last 3 weeks she had not been able to see it for the fog and rain! Again, how blessed we were with the fair weather!! We drove 65 miles with Melissa to experience the "magic and the mystery of the famed Yukon Territory." And magical and mysterious it was! We climbed the South Klondike Highway to the Klondike Summit, 3292 feet above sea level. Along the way we craned our necks to see majestic peaks, many waterfalls and glaciers. We left the USA behind and entered our "home and native land", Canada and the unspoiled, untamed beauty of the Yukon Territory. Border crossing was a breeze. Thankfully, we didn't forget our picture I.D. -- Sue turned out to be the lucky one for having packed her passport and being rewarded with a Yukon stamp in Carcross -- but I am getting ahead of myself!
So if this is Bridal Veil Falls, this is probably whereupon walking up the path, I slipped and fell and injured my little finger on my right hand -- enough to ask Melissa to take down her First Aid kit to clean and bandage my wound. Oh Miss Fallin' Down!
